LOCAL ROOTS. EXPANDING HORIZONS.
Blueprint proudly traces its roots back to two family-owned employee benefits brokerages in the greater New Haven area dating back to the mid 1970’s. Group Insurance Associates (“GIA”) was a third-generation agency operated by the Luciani and Coyne families of Woodbridge, CT, while Group Benefit Administrators of Connecticut (“GBAC”) was a second-generation agency operated by the Coppola family of North Haven, CT.
In 2015, GIA and GBAC merged and rebranded as Blueprint Benefit Advisors, which represented the largest independent employee benefits agency in Connecticut for a decade, serving over 500 employer clients with approximately $150 million in premium under management.
In 2023, Blueprint expanded its footprint and resources through its formalized partnership with Patriot Growth Insurance Services, which is one of the largest insurance brokerages in the United States, spanning over 80 agencies across the country with over $2 billion in premium under management.
We consider our story to reflect the best of two worlds – both a longstanding presence in the local community and an immense universe of resources available to our clients through our partnership in one of the largest brokerages nationwide.
